Aspire Badminton Club is an inclusive badminton club in Cambridge, providing accessible badminton for everyone. Whatever your ability or disability, whatever your age, we have a session for you at our club.

Aspire BC is a satellite club of Knebworth Badminton Club, which has been an inclusive club since they started coaching in 2003 and were one of the first ten BADMINTON England Inclusive clubs (started in 2011).

We are also a BADMINTON England Premier Club, which means our club adheres to Sport England's Clubmark standard. As a Clubmark club we have to meet standards built around a set of core criteria. These ensure that we operate to a set of consistent, accepted and adopted minimum operating standards. In addition, we are open to everyone and we will provide coaching to help you improve.

Our Head Coach has over ten years experience of coaching badminton with those who are deaf / hard of hearing, disabled, have learning difficulties, autism, special needs or other conditions.

Aspire BC has been funded by Sport England and Awards for All.

If you would like to try our club, please contact us first to avoid any disappointment.

The Secret Life of Us

Nearly half of the British public (43%) don’t know anyone who is disabled so are simply unaware of the challenges they face.

The Disabled Children's Partnership need your support to make a lasting difference to the way disabled children are treated in society.

Currently, there is an unacceptable contrast between the quality of life and the opportunities available to disabled children and their families, compared to those without disabilities.

The Disabled Children's Partnership exists to address this and campaign for improved health and social care for disabled children, young people and their families.

The Disabled Children's Partnership's website has more details.
